Theft

Police are investigating after a woman forgot her purse at a bus stop on Fairview Ave near Steele St around 11:15 am Friday.  The woman returned within a half hour to find the purse still sitting there however $400 cash had been taken from her wallet.  If you have any information about this theft or saw anything suspicious in the area please contact STPS at 519-631-1224 or www.stthomascrimestoppers.ca Refer to case #ST22009215

Mischief

Forty two year old Joseph Washburn of Windsor is wanted on a warrant by the St Thomas Police Service.  The warrant was issued after he was identified as the suspect recorded on store security video trying to pry open a display case full of electronics inside the Walmart Store.  The attempt was not successful and nothing was stolen.  Over $800 in damage was done to the case.  Washburn is wanted for one count of Mischief to Property Under $5000. ^8112

Warrant

Forty seven year old James Dionne of no fixed address was arrested Friday.  Dionne was wanted on a bench warrant.  The warrant was issued after he failed to attend his scheduled court date to answer to several shop lifting charges.  He was taken into custody without incident for processing and later released on an Appearance Notice for court. ^9219

Theft

Police are investigating a theft after staff at Food Basics reported seeing a man steal items from the store around 9:30am Saturday morning.  The man is described as medium height wearing grey pants, black and white running shoes and a FOX t-shirt.  The man had covered most of his face with a yellow and red bandana.  He was last seen walking west bound on Talbot Street.  If you have any information about this theft please contact STPS at 519-631-1224 or www.stthomascrimestoppers.ca Refer to case #ST22009272

Theft

Police are investigating after a woman attempted to steal a cart full of items from Walmart on Saturday afternoon.  The woman fled the area after being approached by a staff member.  Staff recognized her as being the same woman was seen walking out with a cart full of stolen items just two days before.  The woman was last seen walking towards Talbot Street.  She is described as very thin wearing a green hoodie.  If you have any information about this incident please contact STPS at 519-631-1224 or www.stthomascrimestoppers.ca Refer to case #ST22009297

Wanted

A thirty one year old Aylmer man is wanted by St. Thomas Police after he was alleged to have breached his release conditions. .  The man was at large in the community released on a non association/non communication order with a female.  Officers were called to a disturbance at the woman’s address and confirmed the man had been there. He is wanted for one count of Fail to Comply with Release Order.  ^9336

Summons

Forty three year old Kimberly Tilley of St. Thomas is being summonsed to court after Officers on Community Patrol observed her driving an ebike.  Tilley is currently a prohibited driver after being convicted of Drive While Disqualified under the Criminal Code.  The ebike also had the pedals removed therefore further charges under the Highway Traffic Act will be applied.  ^9353

Arrest

A thirty year old St. Thomas woman was arrested Sunday after she turned herself in at the Colin McGregor Building.  The woman was wanted by police after she was identified as the suspect recorded on store security video stealing items from a Talbot Street grocery store.  She was taken into custody without incident for processing and charged with one count Theft Under $5000.  She was later released on an Undertaking with court date. ^9365

Arrest

A thirty five year old Port Stanley man was arrested early Monday morning after police were called to a disturbance at a Talbot Street apartment.  The man was charged with Break and Enter, Assault and Uttering Threats to Cause Death or Bodily Harm after trying to force his way into an apartment to continue an argument that had started earlier.  He was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Colin McGregor Building for processing.  He was later released on an Undertaking with court date. ^9370
