STPS Media Release 24May/20

On 23May/20 at approximately 2:00pm police arrested a 37-year-old St. Thomas male on the strength of a St. Thomas Police warrant. This male was later released with a future court date.

On 23May/20 at approximately 3:00pm police received a complaint of an erratic driver enter the city limits. St. Thomas police officers located the vehicle and attempted to conduct a traffic stop. This vehicle drove into oncoming traffic and struck another vehicle and eventually came to a stop in the ditch adjacent to the roadway. This 24-year-old male from the Yukon Territories has been charged with dangerous driving and criminal flight from police. This male will have a future court date.

On 23May/20 at approximately 9:45pm police attended a north end residence regarding a complaint of a male damaging property. Upon arrival police arrested and charged a 36-year-old St. Thomas male with mischief to property and obstructing police. This male was held for court.

On 24May/20 at approximately 12:34am police attended an address on Flora Street regarding an alleged assault. As a result of the investigation police arrested and charged a 21-year-old St. Thomas female with assault with a weapon, assault and mischief. No injuries were sustained and the female was released with a future court date.

On 24May/20 at approximately 1:42am police arrested a 35-year-old St. Thomas male on the strenght of an outstanding warrant. This male was released with a future court date.
