Special Investigations Unit Contacted

On June 5th, 2018, at the request of Chief Chris Herridge, the Special Investigations Unit (SIU) was contacted after the St. Thomas Police received a complaint about an incident that occurred on June 2nd, 2018 where a 29 year old London female has alleged she was assaulted after being arrested.

On Wednesday June 6th, 2018  investigators from the SIU attended St. Thomas to commence their investigation.

Stolen Vehicle

On June 6, 2018 at 12:15 p.m. the St. Thomas Police received a report of a stolen vehicle that had been taken sometime overnight. The 2007 black ford Fusion with Ontario licence CEFD 617 had been parked on the street near the St. Anne’s festival the night before. When the owner returned in the morning, the vehicle was gone. The vehicle is described as having two rust spots on the roof and a front passenger quarter panel that has been recently replaced, making it very noticeable. Police are asking anyone with information about this stolen vehicle to contact the St. Thomas Police Service at 519-631-1224 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
