Mischief

Police are investigating after several secure mailboxes were pried open in the common area of an apartment building located at 544 Talbot Street.  The damage occurred sometime Saturday night.  Nothing of value was reported missing however the mailboxes require repair.  If you have an information about this incident or saw anything suspicious in the area please contact STPS at 519-631-1224 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS Refer to Case #ST21003022

Breach

A twenty seven year old St. Thomas man was arrested Monday morning after police were called to a disturbance on Chestnut Street.  When officers arrived they recognized the man as currently being at large in the community released by the courts on conditions not to attend that particular address or communicate with the occupant.  He was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Colin McGregor Justice Building where he was charged with two counts Breach of Release Conditions.  He was released on an Undertaking with court date.

Break and Enter

A St. Thomas man was arrested Monday afternoon on Devonshire Place after police were called to a residential break and enter in progress.  Residents returned home during the break and enter interrupting the theft.  Officers located the suspect a short distance away from the house carrying stolen alcohol and electronics.  Twenty nine year old Joshua Garrison was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Colin McGregor Justice Building where he was charged with one count of Break and Enter with Theft and six counts of Breach of Release Conditions.  He was held for a court appearance.

Warrant

A St. Thomas man was arrested Monday afternoon on Talbot Street.  Officers from the downtown beat patrol unit observed the man and recognized him as being wanted on warrant.  The warrant was issued after the man was alleged have have breached his court ordered released conditions by attending a store he is currently prohibited from.  Thirty one year old Joshua Garrison was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Colin  McGregor Justice Building for processing.  He was charged with two counts Breach of Release Conditions and later released on an Undertaking with court date.

Theft

Police are investigating after a catalytic converted was stolen from a vehicle parked in the lot of a business on South Edgeware Road sometime over the weekend.  Shop owners noticed the theft Monday morning when they arrived to open the location and start the vehicle.  If you have any information about this theft or saw anything suspicious in the area please contact STPS at 519-631-1224 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.  Please refer to Case #ST21003071

Warrant

A youth was arrested Monday evening after police were called to a disturbance at the family home.  When officers arrived they recognized the youth as being wanted on a warrant.  The warrant was issued after the youth was identified as the suspect who broke a window during an argument at another location back in October.  The youth was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Colin McGregor Justice Building for processing.  They were charged with one count Mischief to Property Under $5000 and released into the custody of an adult on an Appearance Notice for youth court.

Trespass by Night

A thirty one year old St. Thomas man is wanted by police after he was alleged to have trespassed at his estranged girlfriends residence late at night.  The man was observed around 11 pm, dressed in all black, peering into the rear patio door of his ex’s residence.  He fled the area after being confronted by the neighbour.  The man is wanted for one count of Trespass by Night.
