LOCK IT OR LOSE IT PROGRAM

Periodically, throughout the year St. Thomas Police Cadets will be checking vehicles and distributing the notices within the City of St. Thomas. There are many locations where this program will be utilized including arenas, malls, municipal parking lots, and areas that have experienced past victimization.

The “Lock It or Lose It” program reminds drivers to always:

•Roll up their vehicles’ windows
•Keep valuables out of sight
•Lock their doors,
•Pocket their keys, and
•Never leave your vehicle unattended while it is running!
The vehicles notices are provided to police services at no cost, thanks to funding provided by the Insurance Bureau of Canada.
