Male arrested for assault

On Wednesday September 8, 2010 St Thomas Police arrested a 48 year old St Thomas male for aggravated assault. The arrest resulted from an incident that occurred at a Queen Street residence, September 4, 2010.

Domestic assault

Shortly after 12:00AM Thursday September 9, 2010 St Thomas Police attended a South end apartment, regarding a domestic related occurrence. Investigation of the incident resulted in the arrest of a 41 year old St Thomas male for assaulting his female partner. The accused was lodged at police headquarters, pending an A.M. court appearance.

Drunk arrested

At about 3:25AM Thursday September 9, 2010 St Thomas Police arrested a 28 year old St Thomas male for being intoxicated on Wellington Street. The male was lodged at police headquarters, until sober.

Teen struck by car

On Wednesday September 8, 2010 St Thomas Police attended a motor vehicle collision, on Talbot Street. Police report shortly after 8:30AM a motorist turning into the Wal-Mart plaza parking lot, struck a cyclist, travelling in the wrong direction towards the private access roadway. The teenage cyclist was taken by a family member to St Thomas Elgin General Hospital, where she was treated for a minor leg injury. The female driver was not charged. Police are reminding cyclist to obey all rules of the road.
