Vehicle entered

St Thomas Police report, sometime between 11:00PM Wednesday September 1, 2010 and 7:00AM Thursday September 2, 2010 culprit(s) smashed the back window of a vehicle of a vehicle parked in the driveway of a Chestnut Street residence. Nothing appeared to be stolen from the vehicle. Anyone with information is asked to contact the St Thomas Police Service at 519-631-1364 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

Male arrested by police

On Thursday September 2, 2010 St Thomas Police arrested a 49 year old St Thomas male, on an outstanding warrant for breaching the terms of his probation order. The accused was held in custody overnight at police headquarters, pending a Friday September 3, 2010 court appearance.

Bicycle stolen

Sometime between 12:00PM and 2:00PM Thursday September 2, 2010 a boys ( Haro) bicycle was stolen from the backyard of a Hammond Street residence. Police are reminding citizens to ensure bicycles are locked, and kept in an area not accessible to thieves. Anyone with information is asked to contact the St Thomas Police Service at

Female assaulted

St Thomas Police are looking for two female suspects responsible for assaulting a third female, in the 300 block of Talbot Street, around 4:00PM Thursday September 2, 2010. Suspect # 1 is described as being a white adult female, 5’ 5” in height , wearing a ľ length faded brown tee shirt, with “Roxy” on the front in white lettering, straight brown hair pulled back into a pony tail, decaying front teeth. Suspect # 2 is described as being a white adult female, curly short brown hair, heavier than suspect # 1, no front teeth, and wearing a purple shirt. Drunk arrested

At about 8:36PM Thursday September 2, 2010 St Thomas Police arrested a 48 year old St Thomas male for being intoxicated on Talbot Street. The male was held overnight at police headquarters, until sober.
