Shoplifter arrested

St Thomas Police report, shortly after 9:30 PM Thursday March 11, 2010, a 18 year old St Thomas male was arrested for shoplifting at a Talbot Street, retail store. The youth was released by police on conditions that included a future court date .

The arrest follows a theft investigation that commenced on Wednesday March 10, 2010 , involving a stolen MP3 player . The youth was held in custody overnight at police headquarters, awaiting a Friday March 12, 2010 court appearance .
