Common-law Assaulted

On March 7, 2010 at 9:00 pm police attended a Wilson Avenue residence in regards to an unwanted man. The man had left the residence before police arrived. While at the home a female disclosed that her common-law, the man in question, had assaulted her prior to leaving the home. Police located the 55 year old London man a short distance from the home. He was arrested and charged with assault. He was transported to the police station and held in custody overnight for a morning court appearance. The victim did not require medical attention.
