Domestic Assault

On Saturday evening St. Thomas Police were called to a Confederation Drive residence regarding a domestic complaint. Upon speaking with the 28year old victim it was learned that she and her 32 year old common law had been involved in an argument. The argument turned physical when the male broke a smoke detector and then threw a beverage glass at the victim striking her in the arm. The victim ran to call for help and the suspect fled on foot but not before spitting on her. The male was arrested without incident several hours later. The victim did not receive any serious injury as a result of the assault.
