Possession of Stolen Property

On Friday, March 5th, St. Thomas Police arrested a 36 year old St. Thomas man for possession of stolen property after he was observed with some merchandise that was stolen from a downtown store earlier. Subsequent to the arrest of the male, a small quantity of un-prescribed medication was located on his person. The male was held for a court appearance.

Impaired Driver

Early on Saturday March 6th, 2010 police conducted a traffic stop and found that the 53 year old female driver had been consuming alcohol. Subsequent to failing a roadside screening device test the female was arrested and transported to the police station where she provided samples of breath that were found to contain more than twice the legal limit of alcohol. The woman was released from custody with a future court date.
