Male arrested for assault

On Wednesday March 3, 2010 St Thomas Police arrested a 44 year old Stratfordville area male for assault . The arrest follows the investigation of a domestic related incident occurring earlier in the evening . The accused was held overnight at police headquarters, awaiting a Thursday March 4, 2010 court appearance . Injuries suffered by the victim were minor in nature.

Shoplifter arrested

St Thomas Police report, shortly before 9:30PM Wednesday March 3, 2010, a 33 year old St Thomas male was arrested for shoplifting . The incident occurred at a Talbot Street retail store. The accused was later released by police on conditions that included a future court date .

Break and enter

On Wednesday March 3, 2010 St Thomas Police attended a St George Street apartment, regarding a break and enter.Police report, sometime between 3:00PM , and 11:00PM culprits entered the residence through an unlocked door.Several electronic items were reported stolen from the premises. Impaired driver arrested

Shortly after 12:30AM Thursday March 4, 2010, St Thomas Police attended a South end school, regarding a suspicious vehicle . After approaching the vehicle, and speaking with the female driver, officers formed the opinion her ability to operate the vehicle was impaired by alcohol . The female was arrested and transported to police headquarters, where she provided breath samples three times the legal limit.The 32 year old female was later released on conditions that included a future court date .
