Beware of motor vehicle sales scams

St Thomas Police are reminding citizens to be aware of ongoing fraud scams , involving vehicle sales.Scammers are advertising in newspapers, bargain magazines, and legitimate internet sites such as Kijiji, auto-trader, and Craig’s List . The vehicles are listed as good condition, for unbelievable low prices . If the car , truck, or trailer is too good of a deal, then “ its too good of a deal” , and most likely a fraud . Think, is it reasonable for a person to sell a high end vehicle, for such a low price .Remember , once you have sent your hard earned money to a scammer, you will never get it back .
