Impaired Driver

48 year old Bernard Constantine Clarke of St. Thomas was arrested and charged with impaired driving and having more than 80 milligrams of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood.
Shortly after 9:00 pm Wednesday, February 3 concerned citizens alerted police about Clarke who was driving erratically in the area of South Edgeware Road and Burwell Road. Police stopped the vehicle and determined that Clarke’s ability to drive was impaired.
Clarke was transported to the police station and he provided breath samples twice the legal limit. He was released with conditions to abide by including a future court date March 2, 2010.

Weapons, Causing a Disturbance and Drug Charges

A 21 year old London woman was arrested and charged with carrying a concealed weapon, causing a disturbance and possession of drugs after an incident at a North west end residence. On February 4 at 1:40 am a female reported someone outside her residence trying to break down her door. Police were called and subsequently arrested the London woman for carrying a concealed weapon and causing a disturbance by shouting.
Police searched the woman and located 3.8 grams of marijuana valued at $60.00.
She was released from custody with conditions to abide by including a March 1, 2010 court appearance.
