St. Thomas Police Officers responded to 154 Incidents over the weekend.  (Friday at 4pm to Monday 6am)

Ebike Driver Charged

A twenty year old St. Thomas man was charged with several driving offences Friday morning after Police stopped him on Erie Street driving an ebike that had been modified by removing the pedals and chain.  During the traffic stop Officers discovered the man was both a prohibited driver after being convicted of impaired driving and a suspended driver for unpaid fines.  The man was charged accordingly and issued an Appearance Notice for court.

Mischief

Police are investigating after the tire of a car parked on Englewood Court was slashed Saturday night.  The damaged is believed to have been done around 11:30 pm.  A second vehicle parked on Hemlock Street also had a tire slashed.  If you have any information about these incidents or saw anything suspicious in the area please contact STPS at 519-631-1224 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS Refer to Case #ST20010369 and ST20010389

Breach

Thirty six year old Jeremy LeBlanc was arrested Sunday afternoon on St. Catharines Street after officers on community patrol recognized him as being wanted for breaching his release conditions.  LeBlanc had been observed by police the day before ignoring a condition of release by associating/communicating with a prohibited person.   LeBlanc was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Colin McGregor Justice Building where he was charged one count Breach of Release Conditions and held for a court appearance.

Assault

A thirty five year old St. Thomas man has been arrested and a forty two year old St Thomas woman is wanted after an early morning assault.  The pair are alleged to have assaulted a forty three year old man and his thirty two year old girlfriend during an early morning incident on Alma Street.  The male suspect was taken into custody without incident at the scene and charged with Assault and Assault with a Weapon.  He was transported to the Colin McGregor Justice Building and held for a court appearance.  The female suspect remains at large and is wanted for Assault, Assault with a Weapon.
