Criminal Harassment

St. Thomas Police have arrested a forty two year old man after he repeatedly contacted and attended the residence of his ex common law wife.  Officers responded to the woman’s address Tuesday morning after the man showed up trying to communicate with the woman.  The man was issued a warning however he showed up at the residence again the following day along with having sent several texts to his ex.  As a result the man is now charged with two counts of Criminal Harassment and one count of Breaching his Court Ordered Conditions.  He was held in custody at the Colin McGregor Justice Building for Court.


Thirty two year old Ashley Swick was arrested yesterday afternoon around 4:30 pm during a traffic stop.  Officers had pulled over a vehicle in the area of Alma and Redan Streets when they discovered Swick sitting in the passenger seat.  She was taken into custody without incident and was held at the Colin McGregor Justice Building overnight for Court.  Swick was wanted by STPS on a warrant for several counts of Breaching her Court Ordered Conditions.
