Assault/Shoplifter/Mischief/Bail Violations


On Saturday August 1, 2020  a 55 year old male of St. Thomas was arrested in relation to an assault that had occurred on July 31, 2020.  The male was processed at the St. Thomas Police station and released with a future court date.


On Saturday August 1, 2020 police received information about a theft that had occurred in the early afternoon.  A 27 year old female was identified as the suspect by video and subsequently a warrant is being sought for her arrest for theft under $5000.oo

MISCHIEF (Misuse of 911)

On August 1, 2020 the St. Thomas Police continued to receive  911 calls from a 30 year old female who has previously been charged with mischief relating to the misuse of 911.  As a result, police have further charged her with mischief under $5000.00. She was released with a future court date.


On Sunday August 2, 2020 in the early morning hours the St. Thomas Police were called to an area in the south end of the city regarding a suspicious male.  Upon arrival police located a 35 year old male known to them.  Police were aware that this male had strict bail conditions, one which includes a 24 hour curfew.  As a result the male was arrested and charged with two counts of failing to comply with a release order.  He was held for morning court.
